MANY cat owners love houseplants, but are you aware of the fact that some are poisonous to cats?
Although cats instinctively won't eat what is not good for them, the enticement of green indoor plants may be too much for them to resist.
Some of the more popular poisonous ones are amaryllis, chrysanthemum, cyclamen, devil's ivy, ferns, lilies, poinsettia, star of Bethlehem and umbrella plant. There are many more, so please check before buying.
The majority of cats eat grass when they can get it. If your cat does not have access to the outdoors, grow some cocksfoot grass in a pot for him to chew, it acts as a natural medicine for cats.
