SHAKERS' home match against Southend United at Gigg Lane on Saturday is the first of five "Quid A Kid."
The Shakers' board of directors are keen to capitalise on the club's encouraging start to the season by extending the club's junior fan base and see the £1 entry incentive as the way forward.
There was a dramatic increase in attendances last season when the scheme was put into operation with scores more youngsters coming through the gates and adding to the atmosphere at Gigg Lane.
The Southend match is followed by Darlington (October 12); Macclesfield (October 26); Torquay (November 9) and Exeter City (November 30).
Shakers director Ian Harrop said: "Previously the scheme only allowed youngsters to get in for £1 in one stand but this time we are opening it up to all sections of the ground.
"Hopefully, it will attract more of our fans down and swell the crowd for games against clubs that may not bring a lot of travelling support.
"As it stands the scheme will only run through October and November after that the board will review the pricing situation."
