IT has always been accepted that any Home Secretary who valued his reputation would never agree to free Moors Murderer Myra Hindley. And quite rightly so.
If we are not to have the death penalty for such heinous crimes against innocent little children, then at least their perpetrators should be made to stay in prison for their rest of their lives.
However, now supporters of Hindley are confident that an appeal to the European Court of Justice early next year will be successful and the Home Secretary will have to free her.
I don't care how long ago it was -- the victims of Brady and Hindley never had a chance to grow up and their families had their lives ruined.
It is time for Britain to stand up and be counted and say that we will no longer tolerate our laws being overturned by European laws.
