A 22-YEAR-OLD woman was treated in hospital for smoke inhalation after being roused from her fumes-filled house by neighbours.
The end terraced property in Ainsworth Road, Bury, was heavily smoke logged following a fire involving a pan of food.
Fire crews attended the scene at 8am on Sunday (Sept 29). The woman had been asleep but was awoken by neighbours alerted by the smoke. Officers said a smoke alarm inside the property was not working
Crews were at the scene for around 45 minutes.
