MOTORISTS are advised to avoid part of Cuckstool Lane, in Fence, between 5am and 11am next week.
It will be closed from its junction with the A6068 to 200 metres south of the Forest Inn, for kerb and carriageway resurfacing works.
An alternative route for traffic is via the B6248 Clitheroe Road/Railway Street, A682 Colne Road/Manchester Road, A682 Broadway/Holme Street, A682 New Scotland Road/Scotland Road and A6068 Barrowford Road.
The closure will be in operation from Monday to Friday, but access to properties will be available at all times.
