ROSSENDALE property developers are celebrating their latest acquistion -- in Bolton.
Hurstwood Developments Limited have bought a 6.7 acre site in Bolton and believe it is the "final piece of the jigsaw" in the area.
Hurstwood Group Managing Director Stephen Ashworth said he was delighted with the deal.
"It is an important addition to the company's growing assets," he said.
The company are now planning to develop the site on Waters Meeting Road as the Navigation Business Park.
Mr Ashworth said: "I have no doubt that this latest acquisition will be a very valuable asset in the Hurstwood portfolio.
"Much of that area of Bolton has already been redeveloped and we see our plans for the site as the last piece of the jigsaw for the area. We believe our business park will compliment what is now a very vibrant area of the town.
"It is close to the town centre and, right on the doorstep, there is a McDonalds fast food restaurant and The Valley Centretainment Complex, including Esporta Health & Fitness, a CGI Multiplex Cinema, Atlantis Night Club and other restaurants including Frankie and Benny's.
"All in all it's an ideal place for a modern work force."
The site off Blackburn Road was formerly an old bleach works and railway sidings.
