MANAGEMENT at regional train operator First North Western is calling for the train drivers' union ASLEF to put its latest pay offer to a ballot or submit to arbitration.
The move to resolve the dispute over pay came after a series of strikes by drivers, this weekend will see another round of strikes in the region.
No further talks have been arranged.
However, ASLEF will further consider the offer at a meeting on October 8.
Details of cancelled trains are displayed at stations and on the company website.
Passengers should check their journeys before travelling with either National Rail Enquiries on 08457 484950 or with First North Western on 0845 600 1159.
