OUT-OF-SORTS Colne try to get their season back on track when they take on Stand at home in the Worthington Trophy tomorrow.
The NWCL second division team enjoyed their most successful season last year as they evolved from the whipping boys of the league to a decent young side.
But they have found it hard to continue that form this season and have lost five and won just two of their opening 10 games.
They have lost the last four games and haven't won in six and manager John Lister will be hoping to reverse the trend against the champions tomorrow.
Stand, who play at Haslingden's old Ewood Bridge ground, have surprised everybody this season with their form - they are fourth in the league despite most of their title-winning side leaving in the summer.
Under new manager Joe Murty they have won four and drawn four of their opening 11 second division games.
But their recent form has been up and down. They have won two, drawn one and lost three of their last six games.
Both Colne and Stand are out of the FA Vase so will be hoping to get a run going in this competition.
