This week, Burnley FC's GLEN LITTLE heads for the park
BURNLEY Football Club's Glen Little swops the wing for the swings in the park when he's not busy baffling defenders at Turf Moor.
Glen likes nothing better than spending a hectic sunny afternoon at Barrowford park with his three-year-old son Kieron.
"Kieron loves the ducks and the swings there. It's a great way for me to relax away from the pressures of football," Glen said.
The Londoner believes he has adapted well to a sporting life in East Lancashire.
"It's not 'grim up north' at all," he laughed.
"I love the hills in this part of the world -- and the villages in the Ribble Valley are beautiful.
"There also have some lovely pubs."
For shopping, Glen takes a trip up the road from his home in Simonstone to historic Clitheroe.
"The town is full of character with a lot of interesting little shops," he said.
"Originally I'm from Wimbledon and the Common there is great. But Lancashire will do for me," Glen added.
