A MAN charged with the attempted murder of his father made a second court appearance after breaching bail the day it was granted.
Michael Brown, 52, of Stenbridge Road, South Norwood, London, is charged with attempting to murder Ronald Brown, 84, at his home in Bradda Road, Blackburn, and causing him grievous bodily harm.
He was bailed by Blackburn magistrates on Thursday on condition he lives at a bail hostel in Stockport.
But he was re-arrested in Blackburn on Thursday night and brought before the court again on Friday.
He was again bailed but prosecutor Eddie Harrison lodged an appeal. Brown will remain in custody until the appeal is heard at Preston Crown Court next week.
