TWO chilling ghost walks around a town centre's 'haunts' are being staged to herald Hallowe'en.
Spooky Storyteller Simon Entwistle will lead the tours around Blackburn on October 14 and November 11.
For the past year, Simon has hosted fortnightly walks around the centre as part of a Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council tourism initiative.
He takes those brave enough to join him around 'haunted' buildings, including the Jubilee Street telephone exchange and the railway station. Tales of dastardly deeds will be heard about the Wheatsheaf, in Darwen Street.
As well as murder, mayhem, body snatching and butchery, the tour will be told about Blackburn's heritage, including Victoria Cross war heroes, Civil War battles, rioting workers and colourful characters.
The event starts at 7pm. Call 01254 53277 for more information.
