A LANDSCAPING scheme to turn an area behind Hillsborough Avenue in Brierfield in to a public open space could be approved next Thursday.
Several meetings have been held about the state of the land which is intended to be adopted by the council.
The Residents' Group said they were happy with the scheme subject to a gate being put up to stop vehicles getting on to the area and possible fly-tipping.
It will include re-levelling the ground, planting four small groups of trees around the boundary and the rebuilding of the existing stone wall.
