FANS of the East Lancashire Railway are invited to take part in a weekend with Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends.
The event will take place today and tomorrow with feature engines and carriages travelling the network and characters from the popular children's television series on hand to say hello.
Thomas himself can be seen at the ELR station on Bolton Street, Bury, where a range of activities for children will also take place.
In Bury, there will also be an opportunity to see Bertie Bus and the Troublesome Trucks.
Daisy will be in Ramsbottom and travel from Ramsbottom East Lancashire Railway station to Irwell Vale.
The station in Rawtenstall is currently closed following severe damage to the network during freak flooding but passengers can board at Irwell Vale.
For further details contact the railway station in Bury on 0161 764 7790.
