BROOKSIDE star Vince Earl and his band will provide some extra special entertainment at the annual fund raising ball for the East Lancashire Hospice.
He will appear at the event at Stirk House Hotel, Gisburn, on Friday, October 11.
The charity needs to raise £300,000 each year to keep the hospice, in Park Lee Road, Blackburn, running.
Stuart Andrew, fund-raising manager, said: "Now that our hospice is open and fully operational, it is now more vital than ever that we reach our annual target.
"We hope this event will go some way in helping us achieve this goal."
Tickets cost £35 per person, with sponsorship for a table of 10 at £350.
The evening will consist of a three course meal, raffle, auction, followed by comedy from Vince Earle, a.k.a Ron Dixon from the Channel Four soap, and his band.
