THE Magic Eye sponsored walk next Sunday will see generations of East Lancashire people united to raise money for the Lancashire Evening Telegraph appeal.
And among them will be two fund raisers who have an age difference of more than 75 years.
Five-month-old Eloise Blackburn will be bouncing into action from her push chair on the Clitheroe circuit.
Meanwhile in Padiham, pensioner Irene Pomfrit, 76, will be putting her walking boots on for a four-mile circuit starting from Gawthorpe High School.
Baby Eloise was so eager to get going she was born six-weeks premature at Burnley General Hospital weighing in at 5lb 2oz.
She has her own sponsorship form and preparations in hand -- with a little help from mother Yolanda.
The mother and baby team are part of a group walking from Moorland Nursery School in Clitheroe.
"We really wanted to do our bit for the walk as we heard about it through the family. It will be great fun for the whole family" said Yolanda of Blackburn Road, Padiham.
Irene of Fir Street, Burnley, is the oldest walker registered so far with the six Magic Eye walks across East Lancashire.
She joins some 2,000 walkers who are hoping to boost the appeal towards a £200,000 target for an endoscopic ultrasound scanner.
