A WOMAN aged 88 is recovering today after a thief snatched her handbag, containing cash and personal belongings, as she walked in Hollinhurst Road, Radcliffe.
He pulled up beside her in a white saloon car at 10.30am yesterday before jumping out and grabbing the bag, leaving her shaken but unhurt. Anyone with information should contact Whitefield CID on 0161 856 8212.
