ROVERS boss Graeme Souness could not have been more thrilled with the draw against Celtic and he admitted: "I have said in the past the UEFA Cup is not a priority but I can promise you the two games against Celtic will be!"
The former Rangers manager is under no illusion about the size of the task facing his young side and he warned: "If you think that 20,000 Bulgarians can make a lot of noise, wait until you hear 50,000 plus screaming Glaswegians.
"I had some fantastic times up there with Rangers and I told John Williams before the draw that it was the one I wanted.
"I can't wait to go back to Glasgow and it will be a wonderful experience for all of our younger players.
"I know what the atmosphere is like up there and it will be special."
Souness, who is out of the country for a couple of days, is aware that the tie will provoke massive interest in the media and he is sure that it will increase the profile of Rovers as well as guaranteeing "house full" signs at both Celtic Park and Ewood.
"I am very, very excited about the tie and I am sure the fans will be as well," he added.
