AN 88-year-old woman had her handbag snatched by a thief who jumped from a passing vehicle.
The pensioner was walking along Hollinhurst Road in Radcliffe at 10.30am on Monday (Oct 7) when a white saloon car pulled up behind her.
The thief grabbed her bag, containing a small quantity of cash and personal property, and fled.
Although she was unhurt, the woman was left severely shaken.
Police are seeking a man of mixed race, in his late 20s or early 30s, 5ft 11ins tall, of stocky build, with well-groomed, short dark hair.
He was wearing a crew neck T-shirt and light coloured trousers.
