THIEVES have left two young motorcyclists devastated and their father furious.
The theft occurred at the home of Phil Price in Ainsworth Road, Bury, on September 21.
"I went to bed at 1am and woke up at 9am to find the garage door had been removed from its hinges and laid neatly on the back garden," said Mr Price (42).
"The two trial bikes my children use had been stolen from the garage and my son and daughter were obviously gutted."
His son, Matthew (14) had a 2000 Bultaco Sherco 200cc bike which was worth £2,300 and his daughter Natalie (11) had a 1996 GasGas JT160 worth £1,300 taken. The youngsters took up the sport 18 months ago
Mr Price said: "Whoever did this knew what they were after. Perhaps they had seen the trial bike trailer parked on the drive."
A friend spotted what he believed to be the stolen Bultaco bike being ridden in Radcliffe at lunchtime on September 27.
Now Mr Price is offering a reward for information leading to the return of the stolen bikes.
