TWO Nelson men who denied drug offences were remanded to await trial when they appeared before Preston Crown court.
Azhar Ali, 31, of Hartington Street, Brierfield, pleaded not guilty to possession of cocaine with intent to supply, possession of heroin with intent to supply, possession of cannabis bush, possession of cannabis resin and three charges of supplying heroin.
The offences are alleged to have taken place in March and May this year.
Ali and Bernard Shaw, 65, of Manchester Road, Nelson, both denied possession of cocaine with intent to supply in June this year.
The case was adjourned for trial and will take place in the week commencing November 25. It is expected to last three days.
Both men were granted conditional bail.
