A DRUNKEN thug hit a 55-year-old man in the face in an apparently unprovoked attack on Coronation Street, Blackpool, on Friday, September 20.
The victim, who was walking with a crutch, was near to the junction of Coronation Street and Church Street at about 9.05pm when he was stopped by a man who said: "You know Ian, Ian knows you."
When the victim said he didn't know Ian he was elbowed in the nose by his attacker, who then ran off.
The attacker was described as white, male, 28-30 years old, 5ft 9in tall with a Scottish accent. He was wearing a light blue shirt, dark trousers.

A burglar stole a women's gold wedding ring and cash from a property in Sherbourne Road, Blackpool, between 8pm and midnight on Thursday, October 3.
Police are looking for a white male, 14-16 years old and of slim to medium build with short, light brown hair. He was wearing a blue shirt, black trousers and was carrying a black shoulder bag.

A quantity of diesel was syphoned from a lorry in Burton Road, Blackpool, between 8pm and midnight on Thursday, October 3.
The thief, believed to be a white male driving a Ford Fiesta, was possibly disturbed and made off.

A sneaky thief stole cash from a diner's handbag at the Bell and Bottle, Blackpool Road, Newton, on Sunday, September 22.
The 61-year-old victim having a meal when it is thought a thief approached and stole the money out of her bag which was on the back of the chair.
Police are seeking a man described as white, 5ft 8ins tall and of medium build. He had greying hair, gaunt features and was wearing a dark suit.
