MEMBERSHIP of the ABF is seen by one Asian family business as a key to further success.
Starmount Ltd has just become a member after six years in business after finding out about its benefits.
The firm, involved with computer peripherals and media is run by brothers Nazeer and Nadeen Alam, at Churchill Way on the Lomeshaye Business Park, Nelson.
Specialists in business card CDR, it also offers CD duplication products and services, serving the man in the street and blue chip companies. It also exports abroad.
Another branch of its service is its technical consultancy to local businesses.
Said Nazeer, "After meeting with the ABF we were quite surprised at what it could offer and decided it would be a big benefit to become a member.
"There has been a lot of contact already and our ABF link has been very willing to get involved, which is very good.
"Already we have received a lot of advice on various grants and tools and I am sure that its business club will be one of the avenues which will particularly aid us in the future."
