AS a resident of Walshaw Park estate, I have become increasingly angry at the amounts of litter dropped by pupils of Elton High School.
Walking down Walshaw Road, the rubbish stretches for about 400 yards, to the entrance of Cotswold Crescent. Three bins outside the school gates and one at Chiltern Drive would seem to be totally inadequate.
It is surely time for the school to make the pupils more responsible and to perhaps stop the selling of food outside the gates at lunchtime, and at the end of the day. The headmaster has stated how proud he is of the school and its students. But he can't be very proud of this.
