A 36-YEAR-OLD man with speech and hearing impediments threw snooker balls through a window at the Blackburn rehabilitation centre where he was resident.
Blackburn magistrates heard that Bryan James had since been interviewed by a psychiatrist and arrangements had been made for him to be admitted to Queen's Park Hospital.
James, of Richardson House, Billinge End Road, pleaded guilty to causing £100 worth of damage to a fire door.
He was remanded to Queen's Park Hospital under section 35 of the Mental Health Act for the preparation of psychiatric reports.
Daniel King, defending, said James had been arrested the previous week for an assault and he had been cautioned by police.
"Because of that and the latest incident, Richardson House have reluctantly decided that they can no longer offer him accommodation," said Mr King.
