A MAN who caused trouble in a hospital casualty department has been banned from going out at night during the week.
Burnley Magistrates heard how Scott Anderson, 20, was lying on the floor face down with a security guard holding his arm around his back when police arrived at Burnley General Hospital.
The guard had been abused by the defendant who had been drinking and who had become more and more aggressive.
Anderson's solicitor claimed the guard had over-reacted and told the court how since the rumpus, he had lost his job and his home as at risk.
Anderson of Carter Street, Burnley, admitted threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour. He was given a two month curfew from Mondays to Fridays between 9pm and 6am.
Ian Bonney, defending, said Anderson and his girlfriend had rowed, he had then been told she was in hospital. When he got there, they tried to sort out their problems, things became heated and he was then refused entry into the consulting room with her because he had been drinking.
