CHILDREN from Stoneyholme and Worsthorne Primary Schools learned about the role of a firefighter during an activity day at Burnley Fire Station.
Around 50 youngsters took part in the Shout For Unity team building exercise at the Belvedere site yesterday.
They tackled four separate physical and mental challenges in an obstacle course centred on make-believe emergency situations which tested whether they could work together as a team.
At the end of each session points were allocated for how well and how quickly the tests were completed and those with the best scores won prizes.
