Blackburn magistrates heard that Janet Ward failed in her attempts and left before police arrived but was arrested in her car shortly after.
Ward, of Hodder Grove, Darwen, admitted a breach of the peace and was bound over in £50 to keep the peace for six months. A charge of possessing an offensive weapon was withdrawn.
Clare fanning, prosecuting, said Ward went to the taxi office on Bolton Road were her husband, Greg Ward and his new partner, June West, both worked. She said the baseball bat was never recovered.
