BABIES in wheelchairs, pensioners, children, dog-walkers and Mums and Dads stepped out by the thousand to walk for the Lancashire Evening Telegraph's Magic Eye Appeal yesterday. What a magnificent show of community spirit -- and generosity!
More than 10,000 miles were marched by more than 1,000 people who walked the six Magic Eye circuits in East Lancashire -- raising as much as £50,000 for the £200,000 appeal to buy cancer-fighting equipment.
Those who took part can take pride in that -- and we are so proud of them.
