A TRIO of twinkle-toed youngsters are dancing their way on to the set of the popular BBC children's programme, Blue Peter.
The three pupils, from Debra McLaren School of Dance, in Bank Street, Rawtenstall, impressed agents from London when they turned-up at the dance class last week.
Tierney Heap, nine, Mason Hargreaves, 11 and Naomi Jones, 10, used their impressive skills to wow the agents.
Dance choreographer Danielle McLaren, said: "They came up from London to have a look at some of our pupils. They spotted Tierney, Mason and Naomi and recommended them for Blue Peter.
"They can't wait, they are going down todayto be filmed in the afternoon, live.
"We are very proud of them, and are looking forward to watching them on TV, where they will all shine because they are superb dancers."
Tierney and Mason will perform a Rock 'n' Roll duo, while a solo street dance is staged by Naomi in front of presenters Matt Baker, Simon Thomas, Liz Barker and Konnie Huq.
The three have also been accepted to perform as dancers in a pantomime with TV star Lily Savage at the Palace Theatre, Manchester, this Christmas.
Tierney's mum, Tracey, of Haslingden Old Road, Rawtenstall, said she is very proud, but will miss her TV debut because she will be taking her other two daughters, Nicole, eight and Jordan, seven, dancing.
She said: "I will have to tape it because the girls won't want to miss their lesson, they live for dancing. They all go at least four times a week, which is great, because it keeps them out of trouble, gives them a focus and keeps them fit.
"It is Tierney's first time on television, but she is not nervous. She is used to the stage and won't have any stage fright."
