PIPE fitter James Heywood saw his pipedream come true when he won a brand new car on a National Lottery scratchcard.
The 23-year-old self-employed man was stunned when he realised he had won a Vauxhall Astra Coupe 1.8i on a "cars & cash" instants game, together with a £750 cash prize.
He received his car from the Vantage Vauxhall dealership on The Rock, Bury. James, from Heywood, explained how he was working in Liverpool with his 19-year-old brother Joe when they both decided to buy scratchcards.
Said James: "Joe scratched his card first and he won £8. I was only expecting to win a couple of pounds."
