ANTI-social behaviour will be top of the agenda during a community meeting hosted by Bacup Community Beat Officer PC Clare Foster.
The meeting will take place at 7pm on Thursday, October 24 at the Sunnycrest Family Centre, Pennine Road, Bacup.
Its aim is to give residents on the Pennine Estate a chance to air their views and listen to what measures are being put in place by police to tackle anti-social behaviour in their neighbourhood.
Residents will also be urged to play their part in reducing incidents of juvenile nuisance and helping local police to catch repeat offenders.
PC Clare Foster said: "We know that anti-social behaviour causes residents a great deal of concern and we are committed to tackling the issue.
"The purpose of this meeting is to listen to people's views and concerns but also to encourage them to play their part in finding solutions.
"For some, that might looking at the activities of their own children, while for others it might mean giving us more information about offenders so that we enter them into our juvenile referral scheme or gather evidence for anti-social behaviour orders."
Anybody who wants further information about the meeting or to speak to PC Clare Foster about their concerns in person, can contact her via her voicemail number which is 01282 472969.
