POLICE monitoring revellers leaving Blackburn town centre night clubs saw a black car with the four occupants hanging out of the windows shouting abuse at passers by.
Blackburn magistrates heard that pedestrians were having to jump clear of the car as it cruised the streets in the early hours being driven in an "aggressive" manner.
The court heard that the occupants were warned about their behaviour but minutes later the driver, Edwin Mehran Asher, was seen to get out and challenge another man to fight.
Asher, 22, of Livingstone Road, Blackburn, pleaded guilty to using threatening behaviour. He was given a conditional discharge for 12 months and ordered to pay £65 costs.
Stephen Parker, defending, said Asher had got out to remonstrate with people banging on his car.
