AFTER Rovers' game at West Bromwich Albion, comparisons between the two Irish players, Damien Duff and Sixties' idol George Best, and Bryan Douglas of Rovers and England, come to mind.
Duff plays more as a team member, which Best failed to do, but made up for it with his genius.
Duff's second goal, courtesy of brilliant holding the ball by Andrew Cole, was as good as any by Johan Cryff, Best, Douglas or Ronaldo.
