A TEENAGER died after taking drugs including speed, ecstasy and heroin, an inquest heard.
Lee Trickett, 19, of Crawshawbooth, took the fatal combination over the course of a weekend but collapsed and died only after injecting heroin at a friend's house in Burnley.
Paramedics were called to a house in Marine Avenue, on Saturday July 6 after Lee was discovered unconscious by a friend more than six hours after taking the drug.
Adrian Limb said he thought Lee had fallen asleep after taking the Class A narcotic but later discovered he had stopped breathing.
He told the inquest he and Lee had often smoked or injected heroin and that Lee also took speed and ecstasy.
He said Lee had told him he had taken speed and ecstasy in Rawtenstall the night before he died.
Acting East Lancashire coroner Richard Taylor recorded a verdict that Lee had died from the misuse of drugs.
