ONE of the country's most popular touring opera companies, the Chisinau National Opera, is coming to Blackburn on Tuesday night.
Opera lovers are promised a spectacular evening as the classic tale of doomed love, Aida, brings a cast of 200 to King George's Hall.
Starring Monika Chabros from the Polish National Opera and featuring Japanese soloist Manami Hama and Romanian diva Mariana Colpos, Verdi's timeless opera promises to be an event not to be missed.
The Georgian tenor Yeimuraz Gugushvili, who recently appeared at the Royal albert Hall will be singingthe role of Radames along with Bolshoi star Sergey Kunaev.
The company will be bringing dancers from its own ballet company for a lavish sequence and the show will also include an enchanting children's ballet.
The stunning art deco sets will add to the atmopshere for the production which will be suing in the original Italian and accopmanied by surtitles.
