FEARS were allayed after a family mix-up sparked a police search for a five-year-old boy.
The alarm was raised at 4pm on Friday afternoon (Oct 11) when the child's mother went to collect him from the gates of Holy Trinity CE Primary in Cecil Street, Bury.
Police made a search of neighbouring streets but eventually found the child, who had already been picked up by his father, at home.
