PUPILS from Walton High School in Nelson are getting a taste of real work and sampling a variety of careers at Pendle Training.
Year 10 and 11 students have been visiting the Netherfield Road centre to look at the Modern Apprenticeships on offer and get to grips with a variety of subjects from IT and business administration to customer service.
They are also gaining valuable experience in working with others and problem solving
Year 11 pupils are undertaking key skills in information technology, which will provide them with evidence towards an NVQ.
