A GANG punched and stabbed a 24-year-old Radcliffe man following an argument in the street.
The victim had been walking along Phoenix Way, near Asda, at 1.15am on Saturday (Oct 12) when he was approached from behind by a group of men.
A quarrel started and the man was punched before being cut with a metallic object. He sustained a three-inch gash to the head and his back was severely cut.
The gang fled, and the victim noticed that a number of personal items had gone missing.
But it was only while walking home along Outwood Road that the victim noticed he was bleeding and dialled 999. He was treated at North Manchester General Hospital.
