TWO of the country's form sides will go head to head at the Walkers Stadium tomorrow with Leicester City defending an 11 match unbeaten run against the Clarets who are only one game behind.
But even more impressive is the fact that the Foxes have a 100 per cent success rate in the six games they have played at their new stadium since moving there in the summer.
It is only seven years since the sides played each other, the Foxes comfortably winning a two-legged League Cup tie, but it is two decades since the teams last met in the League.
The Foxes financial plight has been well documented but while they have struggled off the field since relegation, on it they have been going great guns.
In 14 matches this season they have lost just once, a 6-1 mauling by Ipswich Town that was in part due to three injuries in the first half forcing a major re-organisation.
That aberration apart, new manager Micky Adams has been delighted with the way his side has adapted to life in the first division.
Some players have had to be sold to generate much needed funds with promising youngsters Lee Marshall and Matt Piper moving to the Premiership, although the club was less sorry to see the back of Dennis Wise after his bust-up with former Blackburn Rovers player Callum Davidson.
He has now recovered from his broken jaw and is back in the Leicester side as well as in the Scotland squad.
But most of the squad that got relegated from the Premiership last season has been kept together although they will be missing one key man, Turkish international midfielder Muzzy Izzett.
He was due to be suspended against Preston North End last weekend but when that game was postponed his ban carried over to tomorrow.
Adams may be forced to make one other change to the side with Northern Ireland defender Gerry Taggart a fitness doubt.
What seems certain is that Paul Dickov and Brian Deane will lead the attack having made a good start to the campaign.
