PUNK festival organisers have confirmed that they'll be back in Morecambe for three days next June.
The news, revealed two weeks ago in the Citizen, has already prompted advance bookings from around the world.
The city council has offered the organisers, Holidays in the Sun, £20,000 to return to the resort.
The council is expected to recoup thousands in bar takings and the last event generated an estimated £1 million for the local economy.
Cabinet member James Airey said: "We're delighted to have secured the event and we believe it will provide a welcome boost for the resort as part of a comprehensive festivals programme that will run right across the district."
The punk festival will make use of the Festival Market and will be held from June 20 to 22.
