THE symbol of remembrance for those who have died in wars is the simple red poppy which, over the next few weeks, will be blooming again.
Donations for the poppy are the main source of the funds for the Royal British Legion to continue to give assistance to those ex-service people who come to the Legion for our help.
To help raise these vital funds we need your help.
We have three stalls in the Bamber Bridge and Longton areas and are appealing for help to man them.
Can you spare a few hours of your time for this very worthy cause and help us to help those who gave so much for you?
If you can help please contact 01772 745839.
