A WOMAN assistant in a Blackpool off-licence was threatened at gunpoint by a thief who burst into the shop.
He forced the woman to the rear office area and demanded money. The thief also bound the wrists of another assistant and taped her mouth.
The man stole a large amount of cash from Airey's in Westcliffe Drive and made off.
He is described as a white 5ft 8in to 6ft tall, possibly with bleached blond, unkempt hair and around 40 years old. He spoke with a local accent and wore a grey, cotton three-quarter length jacket with front pockets, a grey hood which he wore over his head and dark trousers.
It is probably that the rectangular-framed glasses and dark moustache were false.
The incident took place on Sunday, October 6 at 9.35pm.
A MAN who started a fire at the derelict Palm Court Hotel in Queens Promenade, Blackpool, was restrained by a witness, but managed to escape.
He is between 50 and 60 years old with a gaunt face and a grey beard. He wore a blue coat with the hood pulled over his head and scruffy trousers.
The incident occurred on Friday, October 11 at 8.30pm.
A THIEF targeted a pensioner as she sat on a bench outside the Lifeboat Station on the Promenade, on Wednesday, October 9.
He started a conversation and then grabbed the women's purse from her pocket before makig off into the town centre.
The thief was a white, around 19 years old and 5ft tall with short, dark brown spiky hair. He wore a tracksuit top and carried a can of beer.
POLICE are looking for four youths who stole an Alba DVD player from a store room in Louis Tussauds, Promenade, Blackpool.
The theft took place at around 12.15pm on Monday, October 7.
The offenders are thought to be around 14-years-old.
The main offender is described as white, around 5ft 5in tall, wearing a white baseball cap, blue tracksuit bottoms, white-coloured zip-up jacket with green colour around the neck and possibly referred to as Chris by the others.
A THIEF grabbed a Samsung mobile phone, purse and other items and made his escape on a black mountain bike.
Between 3.00pm and 4.00pm on Sunday, October 6, the thief entered a busy shop in Bank Hey Street. He is described as white, around 20-23 years old, approximately 6ft tall, with mousey blond or brown hair. He wore blue trainers with red spikes sticking out at the sides.
A MAN snatched money from a hotel bar till and ran off.
The incident took place at the Queens Promenade, Blackpool, at 4.20pm on Friday, October 4.
The thief is described as white, in his 20s, around 5ft 6in tall, clean shaven, with short, spiky black hair. He wore a blue fleece top and blue trousers.
