CHAPELFIELD Primary School pupils need never run away to join the circus because the circus came to them!
For two days last week Splats, the circus skills workshop, visited the Clough Street school to teach the children a whole variety of Big Top tricks.
These included walking on stilts, spinning plates, juggling and balancing peacock feathers!
And nine-year-old Gurpreet Mond is pictured having fun with the Chinese ribbons.
Teacher Catherine Penfold said: "It was an excellent two days and the children really enjoyed themselves learning new skills to improve their co-ordination and balance."
