IN CASE you missed it earlier this week, Rovers have received just under 3,000 tickets for their eagerly-awaited UEFA Cup clash with Celtic at Celtic Park on Thursday October 31 (kick-off 8.05pm).
Tickets for the game, which is set to be screened live on BBC television, will go on sale to season ticket holders and non-season ticket holders who purchased tickets for the first round away leg at CSKA Sofia from Monday (October 21st) priced at £24 adults (£20 restricted view) and £18 juniors and senior citizens (£14 restricted view).
As per UEFA regulations, Rovers have received five per cent of the Celtic Park capacity of 60,000.
"We have held discussions with Celtic officials and 3,000 is our limit," explained club secretary Tom Finn. "Celtic have 53,000 season ticket holders and they talk with confidence about filling the ground to capacity in their home areas.
"Based on our usual travelling support - 3,000 is our maximum for Premiership away fixtures - and taking into account that this is the first leg and live on television, we hope that our allocation will prove sufficient to satisfy demand."
