OSWALDTWISTLE Players are staging an early festive attraction -- with their production of A Christmas Carol.
The traditional treat has been adapted by Players member Michael Flanagan from Charles Dickens' classic novel.
John Kirby will play Scrooge, Paul McGowan is Marley, Anthony Flanagan evokes the Ghost of Christmas Present, Paul Terry is Bob Cratchit and Clare Highton his wife.
The production opens tomorrow at Oswaldtwistle Civic Theatre in Union Road and runs until Saturday. Performances start at 7.30pm.
Tickets cost £6 (concessions £5) and are available from Accrington Town Hall, Oswaldtwistle Post Office and Elmwood Home Care in Dutton Street, Accrington.
Director Michael Flanagan said: "It's a bit fraught at the moment, but it's set to be a fantastic production. We're all looking forward to it."
