THE article by Margo Grimshaw (LET, September 27) reminded me of the time I was employed by Roy Marlor's, but at that time the name was "Cash and Co."
I knew the Mr Green she mentioned as the manager of "Hunter's", but did not get to know him properly until he took me on the staff of "Hunters".
To the staff he was "Albert" unless we had customers in the shop. He taught me a lot and was a good friend to me and all of the staff. He was also a gentleman and never once did I hear him swear.
