FORMER Hear'Say singer Suzanne Shaw has become engaged to a record producer after just four months of dating.
The 21-year-old blonde is said to be "blissfully happy" with boyfriend Terry Adams, aged 28, although they have no current plans to marry.
The pair met while recording a song for Hear'Say -- the group formed during the first series of ITV's Popstars.
But although the band split up soon after, Suzanne's relationship is going strong, laying to rest the ghosts of her past two boyfriends.
Both footballer Paul O'Shaughnessy and Bolton singer Andrew Warner had long-term relationships with Suzanne but sold lurid kiss-and-tell stories to the national tabloids.
According to her mother,Janet Kish, from Bury, the experiences temporarily shattered her confidence in men.
"Suzanne never thought that either Paul or Andrew would do anything like that," she said.
"She was friends with Paul until the story appeared in a Sunday paper and it hurt her. She trusted both of them with her life.
"I'm glad she's found happiness with Terry."
Hear'Say split amid claims they had received abuse from the public and rumours of group in-fighting.
Suzanne, who now lives in London, went to France with Mr Adams to take stock of her career. The former St Gabriel's RC High School pupil is a trained singer, actress and dancer and she is likely to head in one of those directions.
Her career was given a major kick-start when, as part of Hear'Say, she had Britain's fastest selling debut single of all time.
Pure and Simple shot to the top, selling millions of copies on the back of the group's success on ITV1's Popstars, making her and bandmates Noel Sullivan, Myleene Klass, Danny Foster and Wigan's Kym Marsh very rich.
Kym later left and was replaced by Johnny Shentall.
