ROVERS allocation of tickets for the UEFA Cup clash at Celtic sold out in double quick time on Monday leaving lots of fans disappointed.
And among those to miss out were fans who had made the trip to Sofia in the previous round and club secretary Tom Finn admitted: "That is something we regret and something we will have to look at."
The "Battle of Britain" has generated massive interest and season ticket holders wasted little time in getting their seats for the trip to Celtic Park a week tomorrow.
Finn explained: "We only had a limited number of tickets from Celtic and they were sold very quickly.
"Obviously it is a shame that the fans who went to Sofia did not all get one but also the fans who went to West Brom on a Monday night and away to Middlesbrough.
"The fact of the matter is we normally have ample tickets supplied for the fans that want to travel away but on this occasion we didn't.
"It is disappointing and we have already set ourselves the task of making sure that we don't have a similar situation again in the future."
UEFA regulations allow for the away team to have five per cent of the capacity which means that Rovers will have just 3,000 in the crowd.
