FIVE people were treated for whiplash injuries after a road accident at 4.55pm yesterday.
Police say a BMW 318, driven by Farha Hussain, 23, of Logwood Street, Blackburn, collided with a Vauxhall Nova on a bend on Stanhill Road, Oswaldtwistle. The driver of the Nova was Daniel Bunten, 24, of Meadowhead Close, Blackburn.
Mubasher Hussain, 18, a passenger in the BMW, and two passengers from the Nova, 26-year-old Robert Wilson, from Manxman Road, Blackburn, and Jason Marsden, 33, from Bury Street, Oswaldtwistle, sustained whiplash in the accident. All five were released after treatment at Blackburn Royal Infirmary.
