BLACKBURN Rovers reserves return to Christie Park next Tuesday for the latest in their series of seaside fixtures and one of the club's top players could be on the team-sheet.
Following on from the excitement of Diego Forlan's four-goal salvo on Manchester United's visit last week, Bradford City are the visitors.
The rovers line-up is likely to include Matt Jansen, the former Crystal Palace and Carlisle United striker who was close to breaking in to the England world cup squad this summer
Jansen suffered career-threatening injuries after a motoring accident in Rome this summer, but made a quicker than expected return to action in the last reserve game against Everton at Widness.
Jansen also had a run-out for Rovers' first team in their 5-2 victory over Newcastle this week, but next Tuesday's game looks likely to see him resume his bid to regain fitness by playing for the second string.
The Yorkshire club, who have a small squad as a result of their well-publicised financial difficulties last season, are expected to field a youthful team.
